Purpose and delivery
Religious-vocational education only
AURA offers five noncredit certificate programs exclusively for religious education and service: ministry support, religious teaching, faith-based administration, and service within faith communities.
Programs are 100% online, in English, and self-paced. Students use PDF lessons and AI-assisted study tools; Zoom meetings are available when needed.
Admissions
Adults age 18 and older
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and complete an admission-readiness review. No college degree is required. Program-specific prerequisites are stated in the catalog; the five current programs have no prerequisite beyond admission readiness.
Assessment and completion
Documented learning requirements
Module activities and reflections count for 40%, an applied case or teaching exercise counts for 20%, and the final project counts for 40%. Students must complete every module, earn at least 70% overall, and earn at least 70% on the final project. One reassessment is permitted within 30 days.
Tuition and refunds
Costs disclosed before enrollment
Current tuition and required fees are published with each program and provided in writing before enrollment. AURA offers no federal financial aid, veterans’ benefits, or scholarship eligibility.
- Cancellation before instruction begins, or within three working days after signing an enrollment agreement, receives a full refund and cancellation of any unpaid obligation.
- After that period, tuition is earned in proportion to modules started through the withdrawal date: total tuition × modules started ÷ total modules.
- The refund is tuition paid minus earned tuition, with a minimum refund of zero. Unearned future tuition is canceled.
- Institutional fees and institution-supplied materials are fully refundable. Outside purchases follow the seller’s disclosed terms.
- If AURA cancels or cannot complete a program, all amounts paid to AURA are refunded.
- Students may withdraw at info@aura.university or by written notice. A written refund calculation and any refund are issued within 30 calendar days after the withdrawal date is determined.
Complaints and appeals
Written review without retaliation
Students may complain directly to the Dean at info@aura.university. AURA acknowledges complaints within five working days and normally issues a written decision within 15 working days. Appeals may be filed within ten working days and are reviewed by someone not involved in the original decision.
The Florida Commission for Independent Education may be contacted at cieinfo@fldoe.org or 325 W. Gaines Street, Suite 1414, Tallahassee, FL 32399-0400.
Records and privacy
Student records kept separately
Records include admission evidence, enrollment, module progress, assessment results, certificates, complaints, and financial transactions. The records custodian is Varinder Singh, Dean, CFO & Director. Students may request a copy or correction at info@aura.university; identity is checked before release.
Credential limitations
What an AURA certificate does—and does not—represent
Program certificates document completion of noncredit religious-vocational education. They do not constitute an academic degree, professional qualification, government honor, professional license, ordination, employment guarantee, professional-examination eligibility, or assurance of transfer credit or acceptance by another institution.
A Certificate of Appreciation is a separate recognition for a documented contribution to religious education, a faith community, or a religious ministry. It does not certify completion of a course, academic study, professional training, or a licensing requirement.
The proposed Honorary Doctorate is not currently offered or advertised while Commission guidance is pending.
